Most Indian jewellery brands present diamonds as a binary: either you buy a "proper" diamond piece — ₹50,000 and up — or you do not buy diamonds at all. The market then pushes younger, first-time, and budget-conscious buyers entirely toward plain gold or artificial stones.
This is not because people do not want natural diamonds. It is because no one has built a credible, affordable entry point that still delivers on the promise of real certification and real quality.
Gen Z and young millennials in India are increasingly avoiding diamonds not because they cannot appreciate them, but because they associate the purchase with a once-in-a-decade expense — not something they could actually own.
We think that is a solvable problem.

Real diamonds should be accessible — not just aspirational
This is also a strong differentiator against Tanishq/Malabar-style "diamonds are a luxury milestone" messaging, and against pure lab-grown brands who compete only on price with a different — and in India, lower-trust — product.
We are not trying to convince people that cheap is good enough. We are arguing that real is always better than fake, and that real can be made accessible without compromising what makes it worth having.
